Introduction

So you've stumbled upon my blog eh? Well, let me introduce myself. I'm Pavel, and I'm a 22 year old cybersecurity expert (no, no, too cocky) professional (no, no, too formal) consultant enthusiast (that's more like it).

Why should you trust me?

You shouldn't. I'm just a random person on the internet. I don't know why this weird crossed-out text keeps appearing everywhere, but you should just ignore it.

Harverd Dropout

I'm your everyday "dropped out of college to pursue a tech career" kind of guy who built a business during a cottage vacation with a friend that is now serving clients across the globe. Don't worry too much about my lack of formal education as I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Cyberscrurity Engineering at Colorado Technical University in the hopes of one day becoming something more than a disappointment to my parents.

Legit?

I'm also a certified professional penetration tester (ooh, I like the ring of that). I even have a published 9.8/10 rated CVE (highly critical security thing-a-ma-bob) in the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), which has also landed me on the Honeywell Hall of Fame (I'm not bragging, I swear). Don't worry, I'll have enough pictures to sign for everyone /s.

Regarding certifications and qualifications, I have a few of those as well. I'm a certified Junior Penetration Tester (eJPT) aswell as a Certified Professional Penetration Tester (eCPPT)

Business

Although I started working in the cybersecurity field around the summer of 2021 as a network security analyst, while also doing security freelancing in both the blockchain and traditional spaces, my partner and good friend Frank and I only started our current business in 2022: SB Software Inc. Since then, we've been working with organizations big and small to help them secure their digital assets and infrastructure. During our journey, we also became Check Point Software Technologies partners, and Cisco partners, which has allowed us to provide additional value to our clients.

With the boring stuff out of the way, let's talk about who I am outside of the professional world.

I have a passion for cybersecurity, and I am infinitely grateful that I get to do what I love for a living. Outside of security, I am also a huge fan of all sorts of different music genres, I love to read, and love myself a good movie.
